Well as many of you know I have been making Ranger trans crossmembers since 2005. I have had the drop design for a while now and recently switched from round tube to 1"x2"x1/8" wall tube. This clears the cat much better and the drop design makes the bottom of the crossmember just a hair above the bottom of the frame.
On some trucks the Cat will touch it sometimes but a simple bending of the cat exhaust mount makes it clear very well.
This part also installs in less time than it takes to jack the truck up and put it on stands. You simply pull the fuel lines and wires on the left side of the frame out of the plastic clips and push them up a bit to clear the left side.
I am now stocking at least 2 of these at all times. I also offer group buys of 2 or more. Shipping in the continental US is just 15 bucks. This will go up very soon as well as the price. The current price of steel, bolts etc forces me to raise the price just a little. The current price of 99 bucks is good thru February.
Im also about to develop Ranger gas tank crossmembers. These will raise the tank as much as possible on these trucks. Thanks Ranger fans

I wouldnt even waste my time making a gas tank crossmember for rangers. There is no way for it to be raised enough to clear the frame. Then you might have someone burn down their truck because they thought it raised it enough to drag. (s-10 owners?)

s10 it raises it but you can still drag a hole in the tank.

Im looking into making aluminum fuel tanks for Rangers that use the stock sending unit and are a bit shorter in height than the stock tank. just one more thing that Rangers need to lay out.

Yea Brian the owner of Illusive bought one from me on the 19th of January and 11 days later he has that version. No big deal since I cant do much about it.
On that subject I have two of this version and two of the original tube version in stock.

New update on the Ranger crossmember...
Im now getting the trans mount plate and end plates made from AR500 armor plate. I may also be able to make the center out of it as well. I could make it 1/4" thick armor plate and be stronger than 1/2" of regular plate.
Ill look into that tomorrow.

I will pm you also but I am not able to make any right now. Im going to but I have to line up the aluminum sheet, the TIG welder and time and space to do it at my job.
I have that on the projects list though.
You would need to run a stock fuel pump and a stock gas cap for the engine to run properly.
