Operation Aldos Dream Truck!!!!!!!!!

Alright tonight Nickster came to the house to help me get Aldos truck out of the garage and get it up to the shop. Courtesy of AAA!!!!

Aldo and I have been talking about his build for the past nine months. He has told me everything he has ever wanted and i gave him a few ideas as for what i would like to do.

We have a few goodies ordered that should be here in a few days or so.

Tomorrow we start the teardown it will be a complete body off build. With an entire new frame. Were still going to try and keep the rear section and incorperate it into the new frame.

Iv had some parts at the machine shop for 9 weeks now. I dont know why it took the guy so long to get them done. But he finally finished them today. My guess is he was just SLACKIN!!!!!!

Broke it all down, gonna weld up the stud holes and grind the axle smooth! did a quick measurement and this is 4'' shorter than my stock one; Hopefully I don't have to narrow it(crosses fingers!)

they measured off the factory frame and welded the spindles up before they cut away the factory frame. They'll probably be centering the motor under the hood a little better than they come from the factory so that will all be custom crossmembers.

thats the whole reason for a frame table.. those pegs on the table are for the body mounts, spincles were more then likely center'd off the stock spindle..

We are Doing a ls1 conversion for it, billet fuel rails, and Art Morrison headers for it.. All show no go.

I will eventually get a cam for it, but funds are tied up on other things right now.
