I now have Ranger drop spindles available. These are a 2" drop. Thats all you can get from the Ranger geometry. These are stock spindles that have been modified. These are 90% TIG welded and all filler plates are AR500 armor plate, which makes these bulletproof.

Anyway the price is 550 plus exchange. Right now and for the rest of July Im offering free shipping on anything. This would be a large amount on these spindles.

let me know what you think.

What would it cost if I brought you my spindles and had you make them into 2" drop spindles? These wont fit mine since I have a 94.

Toyota spindles are available new so they are much cheaper than custom made ones.

I believe there are 4 different styles of spindles for the rangers. 88-down, 89-94, 95-97, and 98+. I have a 94, but from the price of those you posted, it will probably be cheaper to just do a toyota conversion since I would really like to get rid of the ibeams all together.

These are 98 up control arm Ranger spindles. Every other Ranger has I beams except for the Edge which is on a 4x4 chassis.

The toyota has the same control arms and balljoints from 79 thru 95 so the same spindles should work.

But all rangers with ibeams dont use the same spindle. 88-down use a different ibeam, 89-97 use the same ibeam, but different spindles from 95-97 since they changed over to a dual piston caliper. You can use a 89+ ibeam on an 88-down, but must switch the spindles, calipers, etc. Man rangers are confusing...

I guess you are confused? 98+ rangers dont have ibeams, they are a control arm setup like an s10. 97 down are Ibeams and im pretty sure making a spindle for them would be next to impossible due to how close together the ball joints are.

naaa you should just be able to cut the mounts off and move them up. I dont see a reason to make a spindle for beams because even with the best drop beams you still cant lay body. if there was an interest I could probably make some drop I beam spindles.

I think you misread my post. I put 89+ not 98+. As far as a drop spindle for i-beams, there would definitely be an interest if they didn't cost an arm and a leg not to just lay out on, but to help the nasty camber you get when dropped.

actually beams are very good for a truck suspension. from 65-96 they provided Ford with the best ride and toughest suspension in a half ton truck. Ford should never have put them on a minitruck though.

Yea ibeams work good until ya put them in an adjustable setup, then the flaws becomes apparent. Same with trailing arm rear suspensions. Non adjustable they can be setup to function very well but they have a limited range of travel before they get crazy out of spec compared to an a-arm setup
