Im making some raised tabs for upper arms on trucks that usually get the upper arms raised. Like F150, Ranger, fullsize chevy etc.
These will have a slotted hole like the Ranger and 88-98 GM fullsize so you can use the cam bolts from an 88-98 chevy or Ranger. These will be 3" tall or 4" tall which should raise the stock height by 1" or 2"
any opinions on this?
sounds like something thatll sell...........

what I need to do is pull the bolt from my brothers Ranger and check it against the fullsize GM bolt I have to see if they are close. If so then I can make just one. If not then I have to put stops at different widths.

you better put that bolt back on when you get done looking at it

Ekstensive sells something like this for the 97-03 f150s. My brother has a set. First he bought the set that raised them one inch then later when he got bigger wheels he got the set that raises them two inches. This is the same truck we just ordered the watts link for from you at Kingpin Kustomz.

The F150 is at the shop and Mondays are our days off. I will get pics of them for you tomorrow Mike.
do your lower arms need to be longer than stock to keep geometry since you move the uppers up?

No you would have to move the uppers out half as much as you move them up. Thats a relative term and not an exact measurement. some trucks will be different than others.
for example only.. if you raise the upper arm mount 2" you would need to move them out 1"
heres the pics of the pieces I cut today. Im gonna do some more tomorrow that are taller and Ill also cut the filler pieces. thanks and let me know what you think.

the kit will come with 8 of the slotted plates, 8 triangle plates, 4 back plates and the little tabs that hold the cam bolts will be on these plates. These will most likely be made from armor plate as well.
I like the way HackShack does theirs

Yea I need to make a taller version that can be cut down or notched. The ones I have so far would be good for Rangers or stuff like that.
