how much would it cost to build a full 2x3 frame from front to back? not including the rediculous custom stuff on the back end?

and also, how much work is involved in narrrowing the front end of a frame like 3 inches so a set of rims with a larger offest will tuck?

all i can think of is assides from narrowing from the cab up, is shortening the steering link. what else?

and in the end, would it be cheaper/easier/quicker to sfbd, narrow, and backhalf a stock frame, or to just completely custom build a new one?

I would see if he can work with what you allready have. That would probably be the cheaper/easier/quicker way.

you might keep in mind motor mounts as well, depending what size motor

I suggest building an entire frame.

theres pros and cons to both. i like just building firewall back keeps all the front end nice and true

the only problem with the front end, is the motor mounts will need refabing anyway, and the suspension sucked in a bit for tuckage of the offset im looking for, so in the end, the front end would be cut up just as much, which is why the option of a full frame build kind of came in to mind.

ps, engine will be a v6tt with an oversized tranny
