Yeah April had the new website pretty much finished up and a couple days later we got broke into and some assholes stole her new laptop and some of our Dvds. So now she has to redo it again which really sucks because there are a lot of pics to be loaded.

There should have been an Icon on the desktop named Lo-Jack with the Icon of the logo. Double click and register.

The way it works is the next time the laptop would have gotten on the net it sends the info to the cops and voila they goto jail and the laptop locks down essentially becoming a brick until you put in the correct password to make it usable again.

once its active it attaches the Code from the security subsystem thats embedded in most laptops.
Its a new security standard its been in place for a couple years in High end laptops but has trickled down to the sub 1k range.

and it only takes logging to the net once, to brick the laptop no matter how many times you re-format. its going to send your info to the police and brick it.

Always do a backup of any work that you are doing that takes longer than an hour. I keep nothing on my computer that I do not have backed up on disc.
